We are excited to announce our partnership with the Rotary Club of Houston for the “Cycle4Change Project” and the establishment of the Mafeteng Youth Convention Center, scheduled for 2024-2026.
In addition to this partnership, the founder of Hands of Life, Mr. Tsepo Nkhabu, is currently in the United States to learn and share best leadership practices, and project management, engage with different rotary clubs, and seek support to create a safe space for the Mafeteng Youth.
Activities in Houston include:
– Finalizing the Global Grant proposal with the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline and Rotary Club of Maloti.
– Engaging Rotary Clubs across District 5890 to raise awareness and garner support.
– Implementing the Evolve Houston grant, focusing on procuring electric tricycles, upgrading the Tour de Hood compound, and organizing community rides.
– Participating in weekly bike rides and assisting with environmental sustainability projects alongside local partners.
