We are excited to announce that the Hands of Life – Cycling Association is currently working on the logistics for our next Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held at our head offices in Mafeteng, Lesotho. This event is expected to take place by the end of 2024.
In preparation for this important gathering, we are seeking to recruit new members who are interested in joining our organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing community dedicated to making a positive impact through cycling and various community initiatives.
To ensure the success of the AGM, we need funding to host multiple physical staff meetings. Most of our members live far from our head offices, so the funds will primarily cover transportation costs, other than the virtual meetings we have hosted. Additionally, part of the funding will be allocated as stipends for volunteers selected by our management team. These volunteers will be responsible for running our websites, developing graphics and presentation materials, and managing our social media platforms.
Hands of Life aims to grow into a well-established organization, and we are considering forming an advisory board to guide our committee.
