Beginning today/December 9th to 10, 2021, President Biden will host the first of two Summits for Democracy, which will bring together leaders from government, civil society, and the private sector to set forth an affirmative agenda for democratic renewal and to tackle the greatest threats faced by democracies today through collective action.
The Public Affairs Section announces that the State Department has selected 2017 Mandela Washington Fellowship alumnus Ts’epo Nkhabu(Founder for Hands of Life-Cycling) to participate in President Biden’s Summit for Democracy Youth Town Hall!
Ts’epo will represent the Kingdom of Lesotho as he joins approximately 70 other youth leaders from across the globe to discuss the youth perspective on democracy, anti-corruption, and human rights with key officials from the Biden-Harris Administration.
